Helps to achieve respiratory comfort thanks to saponins, constituents present in this plant; supports the health of the airways. The aerial parts of the species Eryngium planum L., fam. Umbeliferae, contain triterpenic saponosides, (the main saponin is sanicula-saponoside B), tannin, polyphenols (isoquercitrin, quercitrin, kaempferol, quercetin, and chlorogenic, caffeic, p-coumaric and ferulic acids) and pectin.
