Umbeliferae, conțin saponozide triterpenice, (saponina principală este sanicula-saponozida B), tanin, polifenoli (izoquercitrina, quercitrina, kaempferol, quercetol, şi acizii clorogenic, cafeic, p-cumaric şi ferulic) şi pectină.
