Notes from the manuscripts of pharmacist Farago concerning this tea: “Semen Cucurbita pepo has a good effect on hypertrophy of the prostate. Equisetum is counted among the silicate plants (ash 17%, of which 70% is silicon), of which 5% passes into the infusion and is soluble. Equisetum is diuretic to a greater extent than e.g. Theobromine, without other harmful effects. It is used with good effect on irritation of the urinary bladder and against nephropathy. Herba Menthae piperitae pursues disinfectant purposes. Herba Urticaria has beneficial effects in colic. Flores Sambuci has a diaphoretic effect, and Radix Ononidis also has diuretic effects. The combination is thus reckoned so that in no case should the tea, with its cumulative effects, give any excitative effects on the sexual organs, the prostate and the urinary bladder. By complementing the diuretic effects with the minimal doses of the various plants in the composition of this tea, we aim at the potentiation of the non-excitative diuretic effects.” Product type: Food supplement
